Steel grit is produced by crushing steel shot into angular particles. Its sharp edges provide excellent cleaning efficiency and surface profiling. Widely used in shipbuilding, bridge construction, and heavy industrial maintenance. Three hardness grades match different substrate requirements — GP for general cleaning, GL for high-strength steel descaling, GH for ultra-hard surface treatment.
After primary centrifugal quenching, we apply a second hardening cycle. This creates a denser microstructure, significantly inhibiting carbon deviation. The result: 1.3× longer service life, lower breakage rate, less dust, better elasticity and faster cleaning speed.
Thanks to secondary quenching, our steel grit delivers 30% longer operational life than conventional cast grit. For high-volume blasting operations, this translates directly into lower media consumption, reduced downtime and significant total cost savings.
